Lelingkaixinwu · MMZK Creates a New Model for Intergenerational Care

A New Integrated Space for Seniors and Children
In 2024, Jiangsu’s first “Elderly and Child-Friendly Home” space officially opened, creating an innovative community service model integrating senior care, children’s development, and intergenerational interaction.
The project focuses on the dual needs of senior brain health and children’s intellectual development, providing a comprehensive space where older adults and children can participate in activities, communicate with each other, and build meaningful connections.
Three Functional Areas Supporting Healthy Growth
The space is divided into three areas: Senior Zone, Children’s Zone, and Shared Interaction Zone, balancing individual needs with intergenerational communication.
Senior Zone: Supporting Brain Health and Active Aging
Designed for older adults, the senior zone provides cognitive training games, gentle exercises, and recreational activities. Through engaging and structured activities, seniors can stimulate brain activity, improve cognitive abilities, maintain social connections, and enjoy a healthier and more active lifestyle.
Children’s Zone: Encouraging Learning Through Play
The children’s zone combines education and entertainment through creative games, handicrafts, parent-child activities, and learning programs. These activities encourage children’s creativity, curiosity, and independent thinking while strengthening family relationships.
Shared Interaction Zone: Connecting Two Generations
The shared space creates opportunities for seniors and children to interact. Seniors can share their experiences and wisdom, while children can experience care, respect, and companionship. Through communication and cooperation, different generations build stronger emotional connections and create a warm community atmosphere.

A New Model Integrating Elderly Care and Childcare
With the growth of aging populations and changing family structures, many families face challenges such as senior cognitive decline, limited social interaction, and the need for quality childcare services.
Based on these social needs, Lelingkaixinwu · MMZK combines cognitive training, educational activities, and intergenerational interaction to create a new integrated solution for elderly care and childcare.
The project not only helps seniors maintain mental vitality and improve quality of life but also provides children with meaningful learning experiences, achieving a two-way integration between generations.
Building a Healthier and More Inclusive Future
The launch of Jiangsu’s first Elderly and Child-Friendly Happy Age Home represents an innovative practice in community-based elderly care and childcare services.
By combining professional senior wellness activities, children’s educational programs, and intergenerational communication, the project creates a space where seniors can enjoy health and companionship, children can grow through joyful experiences, and families can build stronger bonds.
In the future, Lelingkaixinwu · MMZK will continue developing age-friendly and child-friendly solutions, bringing more warmth, connection, and happiness to families and communities.
